Active is a Norfolk-based business founded and inspired
by former international sportswoman Sue Eastman. We specialise
in Ergonomics and Health & Safety/Environmental
Training and Advisory Services.
Our services are relevant for any healthcare, care home, educational,
sports, leisure, work, professional, retail or service environment involving manual handling, safer people handling, computer usage;
or possible health, safety or stress-related issues.
We focus on BACK
CARE, Manual Handling, Safer People Handling, Computer Workstation Assessments and Ergonomic-related
issues, to reduce the
risk of BACK INJURY.
Sue is a member of ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention
of Accidents) and a CIEH (Chartered
Institute of Environmental Health) registered
centre. Her professional background includes positions in Environmental
Health and provision of Health & Safety education through Norwich
City Council. She has qualifications in (CIEH) Advanced Certificate
in Health & Safety, Safer People Handling, Manual Handling
Postural Awareness, Display Screen Equipment and Ergonomic Principles,
Risk Assessment and Stress Management and personal experience of
Back Injury.
